Currentzis’s decision to present this particular work in Greece for the first time is undoubtedly a major artistic event. Maazel’s orchestral adaptation forms a dramaturgically unified symphonic journey through the tetralogy’s greatest moments—from Das Rheingold and Die Walküre to Siegfried and Götterdämmerung.
