Zoi Fitsiou and Evangelia Anastasidou secured direct qualification for the final of the women’s double sculls, while Olympic gold medalist Stefanos Ntouskos advanced to the quarterfinals in the men’s single sculls. In contrast, Antonis Papakonstantinou and Petros Gaidatzis missed out on the semifinals in the men’s double sculls and will now compete for positions 13–18.
Tomorrow, Tuesday (Sept. 23), at 5:11 a.m. Greek time, Milena Kontou will enter the lightweight single sculls heats.
Ntouskos ensured his place in the quarterfinals by finishing 2nd in the first heat with a time of 6:45.09, just behind Dutch rower Van Dorp (6:43.03). The quarterfinals are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24, starting at 5:40 a.m. Greek time.

Meanwhile, Fitsiou and Anastasidou will contest a spot on the podium after clinching a place in the final. They placed 3rd in the first heat with a time of 7:00.28, pulling ahead in the final 200 meters to secure qualification behind France’s Elodie Ravera Scaramozzino and Sema Lunati (6:56.82), and Switzerland’s Salome Ulrich and Fabienne Schweizer (6:58.63). The final is set for Friday, Sept. 26, at 9:37 a.m.

Papakonstantinou and Gaidatzis, finishing 5th in the third men’s double sculls heat with a time of 6:24.43, will compete in Final C for places 13–18. Their race is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 6:54 a.m. Greek time.
