Donald Trump: 54% of prisoners in Greece are illegal immigrants – Climate change is a fraud – (video)

He called for negotiations to stop the war in Gaza - "Iran must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons"

Newsroom September 23 05:22

Donald Trump took the podium at the UN General Assembly shortly after 5:00 p.m. (Greek time), for the first time since 2020.

Earlier, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that Trump would “refer to how global institutional structures have essentially weakened the international order.”

According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, in his address to the UN General Assembly on Tuesday afternoon, he will criticize the globalized institutions that “have undermined the global order” and will present “his vision for the world.”

White House officials declined to reveal further details, heightening the suspense, but noted that his speech will outline his global perspective.

He criticized the UN, saying, “No President or Prime Minister has done anything close to this. It’s a shame that I had to do it and not the United Nations… It’s sad that the United Nations no longer do their job. On the contrary, the United Nations did everything to escalate [the situation].”

However, he said, “I am here today to offer a helping hand to all nations willing to cooperate for a better future and a better world. I am here to work with everyone who shares this vision, and unfortunately, I repeat, the United Nations is not among them.”

He then stated that Iran will never acquire nuclear weapons and clarified that before the breakdown, “I communicated with them and made them a cooperation proposal in exchange for ending the nuclear program.”

“We must immediately end the ceasefire in Gaza, but without forgetting October 7th,” he continued. “Those who recognize a Palestinian state are rewarding Hamas and giving them a lot, while depriving so many others of so much.”

He emphasized that “the message to Hamas from me is one: release all the hostages immediately.”

“We must immediately stop the war in Gaza and negotiate in that direction.”

Donald Trump also pointed out that he is working tirelessly to end the war in Ukraine.

“I believed there would be progress due to my good relationship with Putin. But in war, you never know what will happen. Russia spoke of a three-day war, but they have already been fighting for more than three years. Thousands of people are dying every day. The question today is how many more lives will be lost for no reason.”

In this context, he said that China and India “continue to support the Russian economy by buying Russian energy.”

He warned that “the United States is fully prepared to implement a new wave of very harsh sanctions on the Russian economy. EU members must align with us instead of buying oil and gas from Moscow. It is shameful to fight Russia while simultaneously supporting it.”

“I desire the immediate halt of nuclear weapons construction by everyone,” the U.S. president said before turning to one of the most pressing global issues: illegal immigration.

He criticized the United Nations again: “The uncontrolled migration crisis is entirely a problem created by the United Nations, within things they fail to solve. The countries of most of you have been destroyed due to the practices applied by the United Nations. The United Nations are supposed to stop invasions, not encourage and fund them.”

He added, “Europe, more than anyone, is in an extremely dangerous period. The invasion is unprecedented, and to be politically correct, they are doing absolutely nothing.”

He even made a specific reference to Greece, saying, “54% of prisoners in Greek prisons are illegal immigrants.”

He then moved to another topic Trump often discusses: energy, noting, “My United States excels.”

“Renewable energy sources are the most expensive and lowest-quality energy there is; it’s a joke…,” he said, adding, “Even China, which has invested huge sums in wind turbines, still uses coal and oil. I want to congratulate Germany, which, although it had pursued a ‘green’ energy path, quickly understood the risk and did not go bankrupt.”

He continued, “The biggest scam in the world is climate change. None of the predictions for the planet have been confirmed. The so-called ‘green scam’ is a dangerous narrative, invented by fraudsters who drag entire countries into bankruptcy and failure. The environmental footprint is another expression of this scam.”
