Unstable weather conditions are expected today as well, with local showers and thunderstorms mainly affecting the southern and eastern regions of the country.
In Attica, rain is expected mainly in the morning hours, while temperatures will range from 16 to 21°C. Winds will be northeasterly, 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 22, a new wave of bad weather is expected to initially affect western and northern Greece, bringing intense phenomena. The weather will remain generally unstable with rain and storms in many regions, while the system is expected to subside by the evening of Thursday, October 23.
Notably, temperatures are expected to rise from Saturday, October 25, with mercury reaching up to 28°C in some areas, showing a trend of further increase toward the end of the month. Meteorologists warn of another weather disturbance around October 27–28.

Significant rainfall yesterday in the southern parts of the country
Heavy rainfall occurred in southern Greece on Monday, October 20.
According to measurements from the meteo.gr / National Observatory of Athens automatic weather station network, the highest recorded rainfall up to 18:00 was 67.2 mm in Psathi, Megalopolis.
In the accompanying map, rainfall distribution is shown along with the 8 stations with the highest totals. Additional data indicate that rainfall exceeding 1 mm was recorded at 203 of the 542 active weather stations (~37%).
