Notis Sfakianakis’ wife, Keeley, passed away on his birthday, on Sunday, November 2.

The sad news became known through a post by journalist Roula Chamou on Instagram. Specifically, in the early hours of Monday she shared a story in which she said goodbye to the singer’s wife.

“The beautiful, noble, kind-hearted Keeley Sfakianakis is no longer with us since yesterday. She passed away on Notis’ birthday night. We were lucky to have known her and spent time with her. Keeley, I love you,” she wrote.

Recently, on September 17, the artist’s nephew had spoken on the TV show “Proino” and among other things, when asked whether Notis’ wife was “doing well”, he said: “We hope every day for the best.”

The wedding and their twins

Notis Sfakianakis and Keeley met on Kos in 1984. The singer was immediately charmed by the British woman who was working as a tour guide on the island and they quickly became a couple. In 1991 they got married, and they had two children — the twins, Apollon and Aphrodite.

In the past, the singer — who today has withdrawn from the “spotlight” — had given an interview on the show “Happy Day” and spoke about his family, making a rare confession. “The mother is the most important person on the planet. The mother. The mom. The woman. My wife is a huge support in everything I’ve done. I am a normal parent,” he had said.
