Dramatic moments unfolded in the Oval Office Thursday afternoon during a press conference attended by Donald Trump, on the topic of the deep discounts that Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly pharmaceutical companies will offer on slimming products available in the US, contributing to the fight against obesity.

Specifically, just as announcements were being made live by Eli Lilly CEO David Rix, the footage suddenly caught Gordon Findley, an executive at the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, losing consciousness and collapsing next to the US president.

Officials on the scene were able to restrain Fidley, who has a leadership role for Novo Nordisk in the U.S. market. and to remove those on the scene and disrupt the event. Reports confirm that he received immediate medical attention, though his health status was not determined after the incident.
