Kimberly Guilfoyle: Meeting with Takis Theodorikakos focused on the Elefsina port

The one-on-one meeting between Kimberly Guilfoyle and Takis Theodorikakos at the Ministry of Development centered on the port of Elefsina.

The meeting, which took place at 14:00, concluded a few minutes before 15:30, at which time Ms. Guilfoyle and members of her delegation departed.

Reports indicated that the discussion would focus on U.S. investment plans in Greek ports, with the port of Elefsina being a key part of American planning. Mrs. Guilfoyle and Mr. Theodorikakos discussed cooperation in the key sectors of energy security and shipping, which are priorities for the American president. In this context, she stated that she looks forward to seeing the port of Elefsina transformed into a logistics hub in this particular area, which is important from a geopolitical standpoint.”
