The man who attacked Ariana Grande about a month ago was removed as a precaution from a Lady Gaga concert.
More specifically, 26-year-old Johnson Wen, who became widely known when he lunged at Grande during the “Wicked: For Good” premiere in Singapore, was escorted out of Gaga’s concert in Brisbane without causing any incident.
Wen stated in an Instagram post that he was “thrown out” of Suncorp Stadium on Tuesday night, 9 December, before the singer even began her performance as part of the Mayhem World Tour.

The 26-year-old, known for storming concerts and public events, had been sentenced last month to nine days in jail by a Singapore court for grabbing Ariana Grande during the “Wicked: For Good” premiere. In court he had claimed that he “wouldn’t do it again,” but security staff in Brisbane did not seem willing to risk a repeat incident.
Videos posted on social media show security guards holding him by the arm and escorting him out of the venue, while the crowd reacts with both cheers and boos.

The incident with Ariana Grande
The unexpected incident occurred at the “Wicked: For Good” film premiere in Singapore on Thursday, 13 November, when Ariana Grande was attacked by the 26-year-old. Videos from the moment of the attack quickly spread across the internet.
In the circulating footage, the actress and film star can be seen walking the yellow “Yellow Brick Road” carpet at Universal Studios Singapore, accompanied by her co-stars Michelle Yeoh, Cynthia Erivo, and Jeff Goldblum. Suddenly, the man ran toward her, getting extremely close and placing his arm around her while pulling her toward him. Erivo reacted instantly, rushing over and stepping between Grande and the man. Security personnel immediately intervened and removed him.
