The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, confirmed that the United States and Ukraine will hold talks today on a draft peace agreement aimed at resolving the war with Russia.
The Ukrainian president said via a post on X: “We are completing work on the 20 points of a fundamental document that could set the parameters for ending the war, and we expect to deliver this document to the US in the near future, after working with President Trump’s team and partners in Europe.
He added that during the talks the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and plans for its economic development will be discussed.
“We are working very productively to ensure future security and prevent the resumption of Russian aggression, he said.
Zelensky said the discussions would be followed by an online meeting of the so-called “coalition of the willing.
