Nicole Kidman spent her first Christmas following her split from Keith Urban in Australia, together with their two underage daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
The actress chose to spend the holidays in her home country just a few months after the divorce. A source close to Kidman told People magazine that she was especially happy to be back home for Christmas:
“Nicole and the girls are in Australia for the holidays. That’s all she wanted after a turbulent autumn. She simply wanted to celebrate Christmas at home. She’s very excited.”

Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban on September 30 after nearly two decades of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” According to the magazine, despite the developments, the actress “is doing well,” remaining optimistic and focused on what she considers important.
“She’s positive and focusing on the things she’s grateful for—and there are many. She feels very blessed,” the source said.
Kidman is also the mother of Connor and Bella from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise. In November, a source told People that the two daughters she shares with Urban divide their time between both parents:
“The girls live with Nicole, but they spend as much time as they want with Keith. There’s no drama.”
