Details of the new prices in all the country’s tolls: the increases in Attiki Odos, the “golden” crossing of Rio and the Ionian Road

Small but across-the-board toll increases come into effect in the new year on Greece’s motorways, with Attiki Odos entering an index-linked pricing regime for the first time – The cost for private vehicles crossing the Rio–Antirrio Bridge rose to €15.90 as of January 1, 2026 – All toll increases in detail

From January 1, 2026, drivers are paying higher tolls on almost all major motorways across the country.

The increases are limited in absolute terms, but apply horizontally and affect both private passenger vehicles and heavy vehicles, in line with the indexation clauses provided for in concession agreements.

A key change concerns Attiki Odos, where the toll for passenger cars increases by 5 cents, from €2.50 to €2.55.

This marks the first time an index-linked increase has been implemented on this motorway.

Detailed Toll Prices on Attiki Odos

  • Category 1 (motorcycles): €1.25
  • Category 2 (passenger cars): €2.55
  • Category 3 (light commercial vehicles): €2.55
  • Category 4 (passenger cars with caravan, small buses): €2.55
  • Category 5 (trucks with 2–3 axles, large buses): €6.30

Closing

  • Category 6 (heavy trucks with more than 4 axles): €10.10

Increases on Other Motorway Axes

Price adjustments are also coming into effect on other major motorways:

  • Olympia Odos (Elefsina–Patras–Pyrgos)
  • Ionian Motorway (Antirrio–Ioannina)
  • Nea Odos (Athens–Skarfeia)
  • Central Greece Motorway E65
  • Aegean Motorway
  • Moreas Motorway

As of Thursday, January 1, 2026, new increased prices apply at both mainline and ramp toll stations on the motorways Patras–Corinth–Elefsina, Patras–Pyrgos, Antirrio–Ioannina, Corinth–Tripoli–Kalamata and the Lefktro–Sparta branch, as well as on the Rio–Antirrio Bridge.
