Recent supermarket data highlights notable increases in seafood prices:

Squid: On January 4, 2026, the price per piece was €5.15 (€6.06 per kilo). By January 30, it had risen to €5.80 (€6.82 per kilo), marking a 12.5% increase or €0.65 per piece.

Octopus No6 and No7: Prices went from €18.80 per kilo on January 14 to €19.40 per kilo on January 30, an increase of 3.2% or €0.60 per kilo.

Greens (cleaned): The price jumped from €5.40 to €6.25 per kilo, the largest increase recorded at 15.7% or €0.85 per kilo.
