The association “ELPIDA – Association of Friends of Children with Cancer”, in collaboration with the Athens Concert Hall and the Athens State Orchestra, is organizing a special Music Gala “Hope and Love” featuring internationally acclaimed conductor Alvise Casellati, on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 8:30 p.m., in the Christos Lambrakis Hall of the Athens Concert Hall.

Renowned maestro and Artistic Director of the Teatro Massimo of Palermo, Alvise Casellati, appearing in Greece for the first time, joins forces with the Athens State Orchestra to present an inspired, high-caliber program — a tribute to love — featuring famous arias from beloved operas by Verdi, Puccini, Gounod, Wagner, and Rossini.

Internationally acclaimed Greek soprano Christina Poulitsi and distinguished Italian tenor Giorgio Berrugi will lend their voices to this unique musical journey through classical music.

An evening where the power of music meets giving and is transformed into an act of love and support for children fighting their own battle for life, as all proceeds from the performance will be donated to support the mission of “ELPIDA – Association of Friends of Children with Cancer.”
