Eurobank and Fairfax Digital Services are forming a long-term strategic partnership to develop a scalable AI-driven operating model linking Europe and India.
This strategic direction is reflected in Eurobank’s participation in the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, one of the largest and most influential international AI forums, highlighting India’s growing role in shaping the global dialogue on governance, innovation, and digital transformation.
The Summit hosts government leaders, policymakers, and top executives from the global tech community, including India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Eurobank participates not only as a financial institution investing systematically in advanced AI technologies but also as a strategic partner actively enhancing its connection with India’s technology and financial ecosystem.
Institutional Presence and Strategic Strengthening in India
Eurobank is represented at the Summit by Mr. Stavros Ioannou, Deputy CEO & Group COO for International Activities, in connection with the Bank’s Representative Office in India, approved by the Reserve Bank of India and expected to begin operations in March 2026. This reinforces Eurobank’s long-term strategic commitment to the Indian market.
Simultaneously, Mr. Sanjay Tugnait, President & CEO of Fairfax Digital Services, participates as a speaker in a high-level panel on AI-driven business transformation and international innovation ecosystem collaboration. Eurobank’s Summit presence aligns with its broader strategy at the intersection of financial services, technological innovation, and cross-border collaboration.

Leveraging Microsoft Azure, EY.ai AgenticPlatform, and NVIDIA computing power, the Bank is designing intelligent systems to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and personalized service.
“Digital Brain” and Operational Transformation
Together with Accenture, Eurobank is implementing an enterprise-wide “Digital Brain,” embedding AI into customer experience and operational processes. This initiative restructures workflows, technology, and customer journeys, boosting productivity, service quality, governance, and resilience.
Strategic Technology Partnerships
At the Summit, Eurobank engages with leading international and Indian tech organizations—Infosys, LTM, Accenture, EY, IBM, Celesta—to strengthen collaboration frameworks, explore innovative partnerships, and align technology roadmaps in AI, digital infrastructure, and cross-border solution delivery.
Strengthening Eurobank’s India Presence
