A tragedy unfolded at Meteora, where a woman lost her life after falling onto rocks.

The woman was at a monastery in Meteora when, under circumstances that remain unclear, she fell into the void, according to local reports.

Forces from the Hellenic Police (ELAS), an ambulance from National Centre for Emergency Care, and the Fire Brigade rushed immediately to the scene, while authorities are conducting an investigation into the causes of the incident.
