Good Friday today, and the weather will continue to be an ally for those who choose to start their Easter holidays, according to protothema.gr meteorologist Giorgos Tsatrafyllia.
In more detail today, although after noon local rains are expected in eastern Macedonia, Halkidiki, Thrace, eastern Sterea, Euboea, and Crete will have a short duration. So during the procession of the Epitaph, it will not rain.
The temperature will drop slightly, with the mercury reaching 19 to 20 degrees on the mainland and 18 to 20 degrees in the Ionian Sea, Crete, and the Dodecanese. In addition, in the evening, the chill will be intense with thermometers not exceeding 13 to 15 degrees Celsius on the islands and 12 in mainland.
Winds in the Ionian Sea will blow northwest up to 5 Beaufort and from northerly directions in the Aegean Sea, up to 4 Beaufort, will not create any problems for sea transport.
In Attica, mainly in the afternoon, there is a possibility of a few sprinkles. Winds will blow from southerly directions and will reach 3 Beaufort in the Euboeikos and 3 Beaufort in the Saronic Gulf. The temperature will range from 11 to 20 degrees Celsius.
On the contrary, in Thessaloniki, only a little cloudiness is expected. Northwest winds up to 5 Beaufort in Thermaikos, while the temperature will range from 7 to 18 degrees.
On Great Saturday, more instability is forecast in the mainland and Crete, especially in the afternoon and evening hours. In the evening, however, all phenomena will stop. There will be no problems with sea transport, while the temperature will not change significantly.
