The official visit of Emmanuel Macron to Athens will take place on April 24–25, according to an announcement by Elisabeth Borne.

The visit is considered particularly significant for further strengthening Greece–France relations at the political, defence, and strategic levels.

During the visit, the two sides are expected, among other issues, to reach an agreement on renewing the Greek-French Strategic Partnership Agreement on Defence and Security Cooperation.
