Lemnos will now be connected by ferry to Turkey, specifically to the port of Canakkale.

This significant development for tourism on the remote island was announced today via a social media post by Apostolos Koutsogiannis, the regional governor of Lemnos, who stated:

“Lemnos has been added to the booking system! As of yesterday, Lemnos is now available in the company’s reservation platform, marking the launch of the new ferry connection with Turkey!”

The journey is expected to take approximately 2.5 hours.
