Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Christos Anesti!
As our mission continues to grow across the Americas, West Indies, and Caribbean, the distance between our parishes and communities can often feel vast. We are reminded that we are one Body, united by a single “Faith once delivered to the saints.” To bridge those miles and keep our hearts synchronized in our shared calling, I am thrilled to announce the launch of our official newsletter: The Apostolic Anchor.
The name is derived from the profound truth found in Hebrews 6:19 “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” In a contemporary world that often feels adrift, this publication is designed to ground us in our Holy Tradition while addressing contemporary issues, and celebrating the unique, vibrant expressions of Orthodoxy within the African Diaspora.
The Apostolic Anchor will serve as:
A Herald of Good News: Sharing stories of mission growth, new plantings, and the transformative power of the Gospel in our communities.
A Source of Information: Providing theological reflections and educational pieces tailored to the pastoral needs of the Diaspora.
A Connector: Highlighting the faces and voices of our clergy and laity from US to the Islands.
How can you be part of this Journey?
We do not want any of our faithful supporters to be left behind. As we look toward the future of this mission, your engagement is what fuels our missional vitality.
I Invite you to subscribe today using the link below. By joining our mailing list, you will receive quarterly editions of the Anchor directly to your inbox, ensuring you are always informed about upcoming events, conferences, and opportunities to support our missionary labor.

In XC,
Rev. Fr. Samuel Davis
