Giorgos Mylonakis has been discharged from the Intensive Care Unit after 26 days of hospitalization at Evangelismos General Hospital, following the brain aneurysm rupture he suffered and the embolization procedure he underwent.

According to the official update, Mr. Mylonakis’ clinical condition is showing improvement, allowing his treating physicians to deem it appropriate to transfer him to a specialized rehabilitation center for the continuation of his treatment and recovery.

“Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Mr. Georgios Mylonakis was discharged today, May 11, 2026, from the ICU of Evangelismos General Hospital, as his clinical condition is improving and his transfer to a specialized rehabilitation center is considered appropriate.”
