The speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated today (11/5) in a post on X that “our armed forces are ready to respond to any aggressive action.”
As he emphasized in his post, “wrong strategies and wrong decisions always lead to wrong results; the whole world has already understood this. We are prepared for every scenario — they will be surprised.”

His full post on X reads:
“Our armed forces are ready to provide the necessary response to any aggressive action. Wrong strategies and wrong decisions always lead to wrong results; the whole world has already understood this. We are prepared for every scenario — they will be surprised.”
The ceasefire with Iran is on “life support,” Trump says
We are one step away from the collapse of the ceasefire with Iran — or at least that is what Donald Trump believes following the latest proposal sent by Tehran.
Speaking earlier today during a fertility event in the Oval Office, the U.S. president was asked about all the major current issues.
Reporters asked him whether the ceasefire was still in effect, with Trump replying that it is “incredibly weak.” He added characteristically that “after we read this garbage they sent us, the ceasefire is on life support.”
He was also asked about Iran’s enriched uranium — what he himself calls “nuclear dust” — and whether Iran had agreed to allow the removal of the entire stockpile. Trump responded that “they did two days ago, but then changed their mind because they didn’t put it in writing,” meaning they did not formally commit to it.
More generally, however, as he continued, “in war you have to be flexible. You have many plans, but you must apply different plans on different days.” He also admitted that he has “an excellent plan.”
Finally, he lashed out at the Kurds, saying that “we thought the Kurds would give us weapons. But the Kurds disappointed us. They only want to take.”
