The scenarios police are examining in the case of the 24-year-old woman who fell from the 7th floor in Piraeus – Her partner’s testimony

Her 50-year-old partner, who was the one who alerted authorities and called for help after she fell from the balcony of the seventh-floor apartment where they lived together, gave a lengthy statement to police.

According to what he reportedly told investigators, his partner woke up and told him she was not feeling well. While he was in the bathroom, the young woman went out onto the balcony and from there fell into the void. Her death was instantaneous and was officially confirmed at Tzaneio Hospital in Piraeus, where she was transported by ambulance services.

The woman’s partner was also examined by a forensic doctor to determine whether there were any signs indicating that something had happened between them beforehand. Had there been an argument, investigators expected there might have been scratches or marks on him; however, no such indications were found. Neighbors also reported hearing no shouting or disturbance that would suggest a fight had taken place between the couple. Additionally, the apartment showed no signs of disorder that would point to an altercation.

The key question remains what exactly happened during the final moments — from the time the 24-year-old stepped onto the balcony until the moment she lost her life.
