“Helicopters taking off from an aircraft carrier have repeatedly taken off and violated China’s airspace,” said Zhang Xiaogang, spokesperson for the Southern Theater Command of the People’s Liberation Army, in a statement.

“We firmly oppose this and officially call on the Dutch side to immediately stop its unlawful and provocative actions,” Zhang said, adding that the Chinese military will resolutely defend national sovereignty and security.
