Video captures the moment of the crash that occurred in Larissa, when truckimpacted on a metalmarking bridge, wrenched it and then ended up in a car yard. The driver of the vehicle was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to Larissa General Hospital.

The fire brigade, police and ambulance service were alerted on Friday afternoon in Larissa, after a traffic accident with a truck on Volos Street, at the height of Express Service.

According to initial reports, the truck bed was not secured, causing it to strike the metal signage bridge that was above the roadway. The collision was so severe that the structure was ripped apart, and the heavy vehicle went off the road.

The vehicle then ended up on a business curb after it had previously swerved into parked cars parked at a vehicle sales yard, causing extensive property damage.

Strong fire brigade forces were rushed to the scene, who extricated the driver from the wreckage of the cab. The injured man was handed over to an ambulance crew and transferred to the Larissa General Hospital, where he is seriously injured.
