Through multidimensional storytelling and cutting-edge digital technology, the most defining moments of Frida Kahlo’s life, art, and revolutionary thinking unfold before visitors. It is an experience of inspiration, strength, and creativity that captivates audiences of all ages.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
THE APPROACH: As the title Beyond the Icon suggests, the exhibition explores the Mexican artist beyond the established myth and symbolic image associated with her. It does not focus solely on her artistic legacy but delves deeply into her life—a life marked by physical suffering, emotional conflicts, and constant challenges. Through this multi-layered narrative, the exhibition highlights the profound connection between her lived experiences and artistic expression, revealing Frida not only as an iconic artist but also as a person who transformed pain, resistance, and personal history into universal art.
WHAT YOU WILL SEE AT THE EXHIBITION

The presentation covers 500 square meters of projections accompanied by the enchanting music of Rafael Plana and includes archival photographs, historical documents, and depictions of places that marked her personal and historical journey.
