A shocking and serious incident occurred on Thursday afternoon in Kallithea, when two illegal immigrants invaded a residence. However, they were noticed by the homeowner, leading to a physical confrontation.

According to initial reports, the 55-year-old resident became aware of the presence of the two intruders inside his home and engaged in a fight with them. Both sides sustained injuries during the confrontation.

The two burglars, Egyptian nationals aged 22 and 23, were arrested on charges of attempted theft.

The 22-year-old Egyptian man was taken to the Red Cross Hospital, where he received medical treatment and stitches for injuries sustained during the altercation.

Surprisingly, at the same time, the homeowner was also arrested and is facing charges of grievous bodily harm and violations of weapons legislation!
