On Tuesday, Turkish aircraft carried out seven violations of air traffic rules and six infringements of national airspace.
The incident involved a formation of two armed F-16s, two UAVs, and one maritime cooperation aircraft ATR-72, operating in the northeastern, central, and southeastern Aegean.
Specifically, seven violations were recorded: one by an F-16, five by UAVs, and one by the ATR-72.
One airspace infringement was carried out by an F-16 and five by the ATR-72.
Two engagements with Greek fighter jets were recorded.
The above aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, as is standard practice, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA) noted.
