A serious incident was narrowly avoided on the island of Milos, at the famous Sarakiniko beach, when a woman who had jumped into the sea was unable to return to shore.

Strong winds had created extremely rough sea conditions, making it impossible for her to swim safely back to land.

Each time she tried to grab onto the rocks to pull herself out of the water, powerful waves swept her back into the sea. The dramatic struggle ultimately ended safely, according to a video posted on TikTok.
