Donald Trump sent a new tough message to Iran, warning that any attack resulting in the death of an American soldier would be met with significantly greater retaliation.

In a post, the U.S. president said he had already given instructions to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine, and all U.S. military commanders.

“Every time Iran kills an American soldier, it will pay many times more for that action. The relevant order has already been given to the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and every leader of the Armed Forces,” the U.S. president wrote, reiterating his administration’s hard-line stance toward Tehran.
