The final opinion poll before the August holiday period paints a political picture that is considerably more favorable to the government than one might have expected, given the problems facing society and the continuing political controversies.

New Democracy (ND) remains the undisputed leading party. In the vote-share projection, it surpasses the symbolic 30% threshold, slightly expands its support compared with the previous June survey, and maintains a lead of nearly 14 percentage points over the second-ranked party, ELAS, led by Alexis Tsipras. At the same time, Kyriakos Mitsotakis continues to lead by more than double the support of the next closest political leader in the measure of suitability for the office of prime minister, while nearly two out of three citizens consider a New Democracy victory in the next election to be a foregone conclusion.

On the opposition side, despite the wear and tear of a long period in government, public dissatisfaction, and an overall negative assessment of the situation, no strong party rival to New Democracy has emerged, even though two new parties have been established. Nor has an alternative governing proposal taken shape. New Democracy continues to have the most cohesive electoral base, the strongest leadership advantage, and the dominant perception that it will win the next election.

The survey was conducted nationwide from 20 to 23 July on a sample of 1,178 voters, with a maximum statistical margin of error of ±2.9%. Accordingly, small changes should be interpreted primarily as indications of trends rather than as definitive shifts in voter support.
