The victim, whose body was discovered inside a suitcase, has been identified as a British national who arrived in Greece on a flight from Edinburgh, Scotland, rather than from Cyprus as initially reported. Investigators have also learned that her mobile phone continued transmitting a signal until the case became public, raising new questions about the timeline surrounding her death.

According to Proto Thema, the woman was staying at a friend’s home after arriving in Greece. She was last known to have spoken with friends on July 15, just three days before her body was found inside the suitcase.

Interpol Helped Identify the Victim
