According to the National Meteorological Service, strong winds of 7 Beaufort, with gusts of up to 9 Beaufort, are forecast for the Xyloskalo area on Friday.

The Samaria Gorge will remain closed to visitors tomorrow, Friday (July 31), from both entrances, according to an announcement by the Natural Environment and Climate Change Agency (NECCA).

The gorge will remain closed following an updated forecast bulletin from the Hellenic National Meteorological Service, which predicts strong winds in the Xyloskalo area tomorrow, reaching force 7 Beaufort with gusts of up to force 9.
