A wildfire has broken out in agricultural and forest land near Kyra Farsalon in the Larissa region of central Greece, prompting an immediate response from the Fire Service, which has deployed 31 firefighters, nine vehicles, three aircraft and a helicopter to tackle the blaze
Firefighters responded immediately, mobilising 31 personnel including a ground unit, nine vehicles, three aircraft and one helicopter. Water tankers and heavy machinery from local municipal authorities are also assisting with the firefighting effort.
Meanwhile, the Fire Investigation Department for Arson Crimes in Larissa has been called in to investigate the cause of the blaze.
