Mitsotakis to visit Thessaloniki, Florina, Kozani and Ptolemaida on Thursday and Friday

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will tour Central and Western Macedonia on Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28.

The prime minister will travel to Thessaloniki on Thursday.

At 9:30 a.m., Kyriakos Mitsotakis will speak at the handover ceremony for the Thessaloniki Metro extension to Kalamaria, at the “Mikra” station.

The prime minister will then meet with New Democracy MPs representing Thessaloniki A, Thessaloniki B and the State constituency.

At 12:00 p.m., Mitsotakis will speak at an event on the “National Strategy for Regional and Local Development – Northern Greece” at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.

The prime minister will subsequently hold a series of meetings with representatives of business, productive and scientific organizations in Northern Greece, as well as mayors from Central Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, and Western Macedonia, ahead of the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair.

On Thursday evening, the prime minister will travel to Florina.

On Friday morning, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will visit the facilities of Tottis Foods International in the Florina Industrial Area, the municipal company “Xino Nero”, and the dairy-products company “Greka.”

At noon, the prime minister will visit Wonderplant’s investment project in Ptolemaida, followed by a visit to PPC’s combined heat and power generation (CHP) plant in Kardía, Ptolemaida, and the General Hospital of Kozani.

At 6:30 p.m., the prime minister will meet with citizens in Kozani.
