During the night, Greek Patriot systems deployed in Saudi Arabia engaged enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

During the operation, the Patriot Guided Missile Battery of the Greek Saudi Arabia Force (ELDYSA) launched three missiles, while the enemy targets were shot down jointly with Saudi Arabia’s cooperating air-defense systems.

ELDYSA is in the country as part of Greece’s participation in the international “Integrated Air Missile Defense (IAMD) Concept” initiative, with the mission of supporting the air defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
