The post-mortem examination of the singer had been scheduled for today, but was postponed until tomorrow, Friday (11/09), in the morning, following this latest development.
The family of Giorgos Mazonakis has requested the appointment of a technical advisor in order to fully clarify the causes of the singer’s death. The post-mortem examination of “Mazo”, originally scheduled for today, has been pushed back to tomorrow, Friday (11/09) morning, as a result.
At the same time, investigations by the Greek FBI are continuing at full pace at the Stem Cell clinic, where George Mazonakis suffered cardiac arrest during a plasmapheresis treatment session.
Since early this morning, officers from the Greek FBI have been arriving at the clinic in succession, while a representative from the Directorate of Forensic Investigations has also attended the scene.
The two doctors said to run and own the clinic are once again present at the premises today. In the presence of a prosecutor, security police officers and Greek FBI officers, they have been asked to show investigators around every area of the practice as part of the ongoing on-site investigation.
