The United States is offering a reward of up to $20 million to anyone providing information about Iran’s nuclear program, the US Central Command (CENTCOM), which is responsible for the Middle East, announced on Friday (6 November). The US government is also offering the possibility of relocation for individuals who provide relevant information.
According to a statement published on the social media platform X, the offer is being made through the US Rewards for Justice program, which provides financial incentives in exchange for information.
US authorities are seeking information concerning the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities, the equipment used in the program and the individuals connected to it, including scientists.
They are also requesting intelligence on the movement of facilities, equipment or personnel associated with Tehran’s nuclear activities.
In its post, CENTCOM stated:
“The Rewards for Justice program is offering a reward of up to $20 million and the possibility of relocation for information about Iran’s nuclear program, including its facilities, equipment and associated personnel, such as members of the scientific community, or the movement of any of the above.”
The announcement does not specify the precise criteria for payment of the reward or the conditions under which relocation may be offered.
