3.2 billion euros primary surplus in seven months

Greece recorded a 1.8 billion euros primary surplus in the corresponding period in 2013

According to the Budget Execution Bulletin, Greece recorded a 3.2 billion euros or 1.8% of GDP from January to July 2014, while during the same period in 2013 it was recorded a 1.8 billion euros primary surplus or 1.0% of GDP.

The Ministry of Finance notes that a significant reduction of the overdue payments of the General Government was also recorded (from 5,2 billion euros to 4.6 billion euros).
