Marching with anti-racist group members

More than 300 refugees and migrants, along with members of anti-racist groups are marching in the center of Mytilene, capital of the island of Lesvos, demanding the opening of the Greek borders to the north and the shutting down of the ‘concentration camps’, as they dub the refugee hotspots.

The protestors initially gathered at the Sappho square in the center of the city and then marched through the streets of the city chanting and holding banners reading ‘No borders, no nations, open the borders’, ‘Human rights, no discriminations’. The demonstration has caused a traffic jam.
