PASOK leader on TV debate: If there was a Golden Raspberry Award, it would be won by Tsipras

"Mr. Tsipras cannot enter the world of social democracy not even as a stowaway", said Gennimata

Newsroom September 10 11:08

PASOK leader Fofi Gennimata appeared particularly sarcastic on last night’s debate about Alexis Tsipras and said her party has the experience and knowledge to negotiate with Greece’s lenders. Therefore, voters should give it a chance to be the catalyst in the upcoming elections.

“We were led to the third and worst. If there was a Golden Raspberry Award, it would be won by Tsipras who pushed the country towards the Grexit. Our differences are visible. We have the experience and knowledge to negotiate after SYRIZA’s 7-month negotiation,” Gennimata said.

“People can compare the different parties now. We ask to give us the power to be the catalyst in developments,” Gennimata responded to a question on why should people vote for her party.

Asked to whether the reorganization of center-left wing would be limited to her party’s cooperation with Democratic Left party or extended to SYRIZA she answered, “We will achieve the reorganization of center-left wing with the help of thousands of people throughout Greece. Mr. Tsipras cannot enter the world of social democracy not even as a stowaway. Neither he can nor he desires to do so”.
