Greece should fulfill its commitments to European lenders as soon as possible in order to proceed to debt relief discussions, said French Finance Minister Michele Sapin during an interview before today’s Eurogroup meeting.

“We want to see the determination (of Greece) to implement the commitments set along with the agreement of July and within the deadlines, ” Sapin said adding that the sooner this happens the quicker the discussions on the debt will begin, a step necessary for getting additional funding from IMF.

Before Eurogroup meeting Michel Sapin and the President of the Eurogroup, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, will meet with Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos
