The Import Price Index in Industry fell 12.8% in August 2015 compared with August 2014, according to data released by Hellenic Statistical Authority.
The index in August 2014 had recorded a decrease of 2.7% compared with August 2013 whereas MPI in August 2015 compared with July 2015 recorded a decrease of 2.2%.
The index in August 2014 had recorded a decrease of 0.7% compared with July 2014.
The twelve-month average index, from September 2014 to August 2015, compared with the same index of the period from September 2013 to August 2014, decreased by 9.7%. The previous year the twelve-month average index had decreased by 2.1%.
