Culture Ministry released a statement clarifying the restructuring and redefinition of the new ticket price policy set by the Culture ministry, the Archaeological Sources Fund and the Museums Directorate.

According to the statement, the ticket prices were “rationally modified according to the existing fares at European level,” adding that “the new intergrated tickets policy will allow the visit to more than one sites in the same area, but it is currently being examined.”

The new policy will be applied from January 2016 or earlier and among others it provides free entrance to archaelogical sites and museums every Sunday and 50% discount during the same period, the intergated ticket offers the opportunity to visit many sites and museums with a fare even lower than the existing.
