Newsroom November 7 11:00

One of the most bizzare and unique hotels is the 27-storey Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort near Shanghai which has the shape of a huge glowing dounut.

It is located on the shores of Lake Taihu and offers 321 spacious guest rooms, including 44 suites and 39 villas. It is an ideal destination for China’s rising business class who wants to spend a lot of money in luxury.

Guests to the Sheraton Huzhou will stay in the most opulent surroundings.

Beijing-born architect Ma Yanson designed the hotel to look as if it floats, but in fact the bottom ends are connected by two basement levels.

The luxury lobby is lit by 20,000 Swarovski and European natural crystal lamps, while the flor is paved with Afghan White Jade and Tiger’s Eye Stone from Brazil.
