It was the crime of the decade when Lorena Bobbitt chopped off her husband’s penis in 1993, sparking a long, publicized court case. She cut off John Bobbitt’s penis after years of infidelity and abuse. Surgeons were able to reattach the penis and he even performed in porn films to show that it was in working order.

Lorena Bobbitt had split society at the time until she was finally acquitted on the grounds of temporary insanity. Now remarried, she lives with her second husband Dave Bellinger and their daughter Olivia, aged 10. She adds that her second husband never brings up what happened to her first husband.
