Richardo Fernando, aged 58, a gynaecologist from Portugal told protothema.gr that he had rented a car and were guided through the area while using the GPS. “I had no idea what was going on and I was shocked. The glass and rocks taht hit me caused an injury,” he said. Bleeding, he called for the police to help him and an ambulance headed to his hotel to pick him up.

Seven people were arrested during the scuffles where a group of young people had closed the road in episodes being held around the country in honor of Alexis Grigoropoulos, who died at the age of 15, when shot by a policeman at Exarheia on December 6,2008.
