The news of Gokhan Tore’s injury in a shooting in a nightclub where he was having fun with his teammates have shaken Istanbul. The 22 year old midfielder currently on loan at Besiktas from Rubin Kazan, after the injury of his shoulder was immediately transported to the hospital where he underwent surgery. Fortunately his life is not at risk.

Turkish press reports that Tores had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, since he has no connection with the shooter. Police are investigating the case.
