Greek police arrested a 48-year-old man, Thursday after a search at his house revealed he possessed thousands of child pornographic photos and videos. The Greek cyber crime unit was was alerted by German authorities who managed to trace three electronic threads to the man’s residence. The German state immediately informed the Greek prosecutor, who in turn issued a search warrant on the suspect’s premises, which corroborated the information.  Greek police were able to trace one of the threads to the man’s house. During the search two external hard drives were seized, a laptop, four computer hard drives and a mobile phone. The man received a 2-day time limit to prepare his defence before he appears in court on Monday.
