The last trend on Facebook, “challenge accepted” is mostly seen in women’s statuses in their profiles, where they upload their black and white picture as a message for breast cancer and our awakening.
A woman from Greece named Christina gave a whole new dimension to this trend, by posting a photo of her breast after a mastectomy. Her goal was to raise awareness among women.
The picture has shaken and touched many women and was shared by more than 600 people on Facebook.
“Good afternoon!!! This is my answer to the challenge accepted!!! By uploading pictures of our faces I don’t really think that any woman will be awakened to do the tests necessary to prevent the scourge of cancer!!! I challenge you to see the truth so you’ll know how serious it is!!! It’s better to call things by their names!!! I won!! What about you???”, she wrote.
