The 11th Annual Greek Roadshow, organized by the Athens Stock Exchange, is taking place in London with 27 of the largest Greek companies attending the three-day event. Participants get to meet with representatives of foreign funds at the facilities of the Bloomberg agency.
The representatives of the 27 companies, that were initially expected to have included the Piraeus Port Organization and Attica Bank, will be called to give answers to questions related to the Greek economy and the future of their companies.
Last year there were around 600 meetings with more than 100 representatives of foreign funds meeting with Greek company representatives. Big names such as Morgan Stanley, UBS, Blackrock, Adelphi Capital, Argos, Armajaro, Belgravia Capital, Canyon Partners, Compass Asset Mgmnt, Fidelity, Gladstone Capital, Hermes, Invesco, Lazard, Lupus Alpha, Pimco and T Rowe Price were present and it is considered a certainty that these big players will be back.
The event, that is taking place between September 20 and September 22, will apparently enjoy better timing than last year’s presentations, which came before national elections and a hastily called referendum in Greece for early July 2015.
